Orange Creamsicle Smoothie | Low-FODMAP
Creamsicle? More like dreamsicle! This smoothie is light, refreshing, and tastes like summer in a glass! The hemp hearts are packed full of plant protein and essential fatty acids!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup frozen banana slices green-tinged or yellow, no brown spots
- 1 seedless orange, peeled e.g. cara cara, tangelo, blood orange
- 1/2 tsp orange zest
- 1 cup almond milk or, lactose-free cow's milk
- 1 Tbsp hemp hearts (optional)
- 3/4 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- Add frozen banana slices, orange zest, peeled orange, almond milk, vanilla extract and hemp hearts into a blender. Blend well.
- Add ice cubes if you like a thicker smoothie and blend until smooth.
Notes
Tip: Slice green-tinged bananas (no brown spots) after purchase and freeze on a plate or cookie sheet. Transfer to a freezer-safe container or freezer bag for easy access!
